This is kind of a quick and dirty review of Blistex Medicated Lip Ointment, because that's what this "lipgloss" is: a secret beauty weapon that you keep tucked in a drawer, not displayed on your desk or in a designer bag. I've never been a Blistex or ChapStick kind of girl, but this blog is forcing me outside my comfort zone, in the name of research. So when I realized I kept coming across ads for ChapStick's new True Shimmer lip balm, I felt I had to try it. More of an impulse buy than the investment some lip gloss brands demand, ChapStick True Shimmer lip balm will only set you back about $3, the average price for a decent drugstore lip moisturizer these days.
